Service was great, however the server neglected to tell me there was a surcharge for the fried rice that she recommended with my Loco Moco. Other than that, everything was plated beautifully and there was no wait for a table around 10 am on a Wednesday morning.

Great breakfast! Short Rib Loco Moco & Nutella & strawberry crepes. Excellent coffee!

Really beautiful restaurant, came for breakfast on MLK day so there was a long line before we got attended to, however, the staff is great and work as quick as they can :)

Food is good, but it’s a bit pricey for the amount of food. If you’re hungry hungry, maybe go somewhere else. But if you want a nice brunch spot, the place is good.

Pretty good variety of pancakes and delicious mo’eggs. A little pricy for a strip mall kind of place.

Excellence in food quality, ambience, service at reasonable affordable price.

It was worth the wait. I got their short rib loco moco. Delish! Next time I want to try their pancakes.

Delicious! We had the Kalua Benedict and the Short Rib Moco Loco. I DEFINITELY recommend the Moco Loco!!

I tasted my wife's avocado toast and realized I had chosen the wrong breakfast. My corned beef hash had the proper ingredients but the flavors weren't meshed well. The corned beef was cubed and very mild. The potatoes were also cubed but looked and tasted like an Ore Ida product. While it wasn't out of a can, I didn't like the concept.

Coming from ny, I never knew how popular rice was with breakfast in Hawaii. I really enjoyed the MC breakfast with sausage links, eggs and fried rice. The rice was really flavorful and not dry. Also had a bite of the Kalua pig Benedict, that was also pretty good too. Overall, great breakfast place ðŸ‘ðŸ¼

Awesome Kalua pork Benedict. I tried some of my friend's sausage omelette and some of the pineapple sausage and both were great! Service is good but you may have to wait a bit longer than usual for food.

I had the Kalua Pig Benedict and it was amazing! All the servers were were very sweet and helpful. :) I’ll be back to try the avocado toast at some point!

This is the Arugula and quinoa salad with lemon vinaigrette. I added avocado. It was so delicious, I didn't notice that they forgot to add the quinoa until I was almost done! I would still recommend this restaurant, they are a bit pricey, but have yummy, unusual dishes!

Food was wonderful and staff were very friendly and helpful. Hands down a must visit breakfast place. The wait is worth it.

Great place for breakfast or brunch! I have enjoyed pretty much everything I have ordered here, especially the crepes which are my weakness. Get them with nutella, bananas and strawberries! My father is an old grumpy guy and actually "tolerates" it here so I take him on occasion when I am on the east side.

Delicious! They accommodated a large party well, took some time as to be expected, but definitely would go back.

This is probably the best breakfast & brunch spot in East Honolulu. It's located at Koko Marina Center (no view of the marina, sorry!) And has a nice menu, served by a friendly staff, in a bright clean space. Moana Cafe is a step up from the usual pancake place (and it's also a bit more expensive), but it's also more relaxing, less crowded, and more pleasant. We got the eggs Benedict and the Big pancake with fruit in top -- both thumbs up. Kalua pork benedict and chantilly banana pancakes are also good. Their home fried potatoes are good, but their hash is odd.

Food was excellent. Husband had Eggs Benedict and I had a simple breakfast eggs, bacon, "mini" pancake. Portions are filling. Wait staff are courteous and very responsive. Will definitely be back.

Food is always consistent. Great staff and atmosphere. Been here multiple times and it's always a great experience. Prices are reasonable. You may have to wait a little on some time of the morning. Other than that, awesome place!

I had heard great things about this little café in my neighborhood, and finally got to try it. The good reviews are deserved - my crepe with Kalua pork was one of the best I’ve had, despite the fact they didn’t slather it in any kind of sauce. The crepe itself was tender and light and the kalua pork filling was excellent. My friend said she comes here often, and highly recommends the omelets. I will have to be back to try their short rib loco moco!

good food, hipster but beach relaxed. gourmet breakfast offerings, great sandwiches, and wonderful coffee. other entrees include lox and bagel, avocado toast (with egg); giant pancakes and waffles. good, fresh salads. All the food is very fresh and well prepared and nicely presented. Coffee is freshly made by the cup; clean and sparse interior (limited seating, so sometimes there is a wait list - but worth it). it can get loud (acoustics are not the best), but seats are comfortable and there are some booth benches as well. Breakfast and lunch only; moderately priced - considering how fresh and unique the food is; plenty of free parking; on the harbor (though no view of the harbor); exterior public restrooms.

Awesome place for breakfast! Gets crowded and over time and time again, I can’t figure out the right time for the crowd not to be there.. it’s just that good!!

Quaint and classy! Breakfast bar and booth seating for all sizes of parties. Such an amazing menu! Wife went with Kailua Pig Benedict and I chose the blueberry and whipped cream crepé

Friendly staff. The portions were pretty big and it would definitely fill you up. Went here after snorkeling, so I definitely had a big appetite. The corned beef hash was really good when paired with the juicy egg yolk. The short rib loco moco was by far the best I’ve had during my entire trip. Highly recommended if you need rice to fuel your day.

Came to see my friend Lexxy but she wasn’t working that day. But I brought a big group of 8 after hearing her recommendation kalbi loco moco and chantili pancakes. Everything was great and tasty. Good thing the waitress recommended me to only get 1 pancake. It was huge

Banana pancake and the short rib loco moco were delicious! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone especially after a early morning hike for a carb fix

Definitely enjoyed myself here, and I do recommend this place. Was seated fast as there was a place at the bar counter. Place was clean and organized. Seating was a bit limited but they were also busy, so hard to say if there were enough seats or not. But I did not have to wait to be seated, so that's a plus.I had the Avocado Toast, and the Mc Breakfast, with a side pancake (plain). The avocado toast was excellent! Definitely will eat that again, light, simple, refreshing, and definitely filling! The waitress took care of the order, got everything right and kept checking to make sure I was ok. I would probably make this place my go to breakfast spot whenever I stayed in the Hawaii Kai location.

EXTRAORDINARY food! I went with Charlie and Carla from Homemade Adventures, based upon their recommendation that the pancakes are worth checking out. We each ordered a different entrée, but everything was ridiculously good. I went with the sundried tomato crêpe with a side of fruit (this is the sweetest pineapple and banana I have had in recent memory). Carla ordered the cinnamon pancake, which you can clearly see ONE pancake is enough to feed an army. It was also probably my favorite thing at the table. And Charlie ordered the veggie omelet, which was another favorite. The mix of sweet and savory was perfect from all of the entrees. The only thing I would change is smaller "tapas sized" portions, because picking only one or to things from the menu is impossible!

Good food, nice size portions but tight seating.

Service: absolutely great and super friendly.Food: delicious. If you come over, get the crab eggs Benedict as well as the fruity waffle. Very clean and fast service. Hopefully I come over again.

Delicious food, despite a little wait. The drip coffee is out of this world, with a color that makes your mouth water--plus one free refill. Belgian waffle is enough to fill you up even after a grueling hike up Koko Head. The bathrooms are outside of the building so you have to get a code and walk upstairs next door. A bit inconvenient but nothing to have a cow over. Overall, would definitely come here again, even if only for the coffee.
Sunny Rutter
Delicious food, amazing coffee made with espresso, creama present &. Accounted for (yum). Their raspberry balsamic vinaigrette is the reason to order one of their amazing salads. Service by Angel is always top notch. Slightly higher in price, but worth it. These were the braised short rib Loco Moco, French toast & their version of corned beef hash with eggs. ðŸ‘ðŸ‘

this is one of my favorite breakfast places in Hawaii. the short rib loco moco, and strawberry and milk pancake are to die for.

Super friendly staff. Amazing food! We got the Kalua pig Benedict which was super tasty and the banana chantilly pancake which is hands down one of the best pancakes I’ve ever had. It’s HUGE so i recommend getting the short stack. Hana was our server and she was very pleasant. Can’t recommend this place enough!
Shane Schaffer
Very good food. Good location to stop and grab breakfast before hiking koko. A bit pricey but that’s standard for Hawaii.
